After the Flood

“After the Flood” Wimberley 2015 on the Blanco While searching for a lost dog near our water park on the Blanco, I found an empty 15” x 30" picture frame stuck up in a tree - right across the river from where Mr. McComb was rescued. I thought I should do a painting to fill the frame and donate it to flood relief. I took a picture of the devastation nearby. Through the stripped cypress trees I saw a tattered American flag draped over the debris in the background... I felt it was a sign of hope amidst the loss.
