Rock Creek Park, TN

It was a foggy day in Rock Creek Park Tennessee, where I visited with my Tenn family. The haze created a beautiful photo, but was too misty when I painted it. Needed to stand out.

Been working on some old French fort barracks in Blaye, France. Can’t get a good color photo of the work, but it is nearly finished.
Visited my oldest in TN last year and went with the granddaughters to Rock Creek Park, TN for some hiking. Took a really cool picture of tall trees in the mist. This is day 2 of the painting.
My grandson, Blake, is 3 years old and was visiting from Pittsburgh with my youngest son and family. My son asked me to have Blake doodle on a canvas and then for me to make a painting out of it. It isn’t finished yet, but I started following his lines with colors on my palette. What do you think it is becoming? 🙂
